TV control: Network / IR / None

Screen: Room Devices — a room's TV & audio card.

What it is

The Network · IR · None row in the TV box.

What to enter

1. Network: the hub drives the TV over the network; enter its address with Connect.
2. IR: opens the IR box; the choice is kept only when you press Done there.
3. None: the hub does not drive the TV and the app shows no remote for it.

What it changes

In the house: The project saves this by itself. At the next Save & Deploy the hub drives the TV the chosen way; with None the TV is not sent to the hub.

In the app: With None, no TV remote. With IR, the same remote as a network TV, without the apps.

If it goes wrong

• IR with no IR port or Global Caché unit: a red line says so, and the app's buttons say the TV isn't connected. It does not stop Save & Deploy.
