Accept types

Screen: Room Devices (step 5 of 7) — Curtains & blinds card.

What it is

The Accept types · N proposed button. It shows when some curtain types were guessed from the names (a name with Sheer → Sheer, Blind or Shutter → Blind). Guessed types are gold.

What to enter

1. Check the gold Type boxes.
2. Change any that are wrong.
3. Press Accept types to keep the rest as guessed.

What it changes

In the house: Nothing moves differently. At the next Save & Deploy each curtain carries its type.

In the app: The type decides which curtains All Main, All Sheer, All Blinds and Close all act on. A guess that was never accepted is sent as Main.

If it goes wrong

If a sheer opens with the main curtains, its type is still Main. Set it to Sheer and deploy.
