+ Add a door

Screen: Room Devices (step 5 of 7) — the Door phones card.

What it is

The button that adds a new door phone to the home.

What to enter

1. Press + Add a door.
2. A new box opens: brand TCS, relay 1, HTTPS on, word door, and a new bell address.
3. Type the Name and the IP.
4. Press Done.

What it changes

In the house: After Done and the next Save & Deploy, the hub gets the door: its address, brand, login, relay and bell secret. The hub then listens for the bell on the bell address.

In the app: After Save & Deploy, the phones show the door by its name. They never get its address, login or secret.

If it goes wrong

• Cancel drops the new door. Nothing is saved.
• Door phones belong to the whole home, not to the room on screen.
