Copy (bell address)

Screen: Room Devices (step 5 of 7) — the door phone box (opened from the Door phones card).

What it is

Copies the door's bell address. The box shows it with the secret shortened; Copy copies it in full.

What to enter

1. Press Copy. It changes to Copied.
2. Paste the address into the door phone's call URL setting.

What it changes

In the house: Nothing changes in the project. The door phone calls this address when the bell is pressed. The hub hears the bell there after the door is deployed.

In the app: Nothing changes from the copy.

If it goes wrong

• If the browser cannot copy, the box shows the full address to copy by hand.
• If the address shows <hub> instead of a number, the project is not bound to a hub that has reported its address yet. Bind it on the Deploy step first.
• The address uses the door's fixed id. Renaming the door does not change it.
