Room name (top line)

Screen: Room Devices (step 5 of 7) — the top line.

What it is

The room's name, edited in place on the top line. It is the same name as in Rooms.

What to enter

Type the new name. It saves as you type.

What it changes

In the house: The project saves by itself. At the next Save & Deploy the hub gets the room under the new name; the hub's settings name the room's devices from it.

In the app: At the next Save & Deploy the phones show the new name.

If it goes wrong

• Two rooms with the same name: a red line says so, and Save & Deploy is off until one is renamed.
• An empty name hides the room from this screen. Name it again in Rooms.
