+ Add fan

Screen: Room Devices (step 5 of 7) — Air conditioning card, one AC row.

What it is

Adds a ceiling fan with speeds under this room's ACs. An exhaust or plain on/off fan is added under Lights as On/off instead.

What to enter

1. Press + Add fan. A row named Fan 1 (or the next number) opens.
2. Pick its Source, and fill in its addresses (KNX) or joins (Crestron).

What it changes

In the house: The project saves this by itself. The new fan starts as KNX if the project has KNX (or has no Crestron), otherwise Crestron, with 3 speeds. A fan with no address or join is not driven by the hub.

In the app: The fan shows on the room's AC tile, after the ACs, at the next Save & Deploy. Until it has an address or join, a press says it is not connected.

If it goes wrong

• Wrong source: change it with Source.
• Not wanted: remove it with ×.
