TV brand

Screen: Room Devices — a room's TV & audio card.

What it is

The list in the TV box: None, Sony Bravia, LG webOS or Samsung Tizen.

What to enter

Pick the TV's brand, or None when the room has no TV. Picking a brand sets that brand's usual number of HDMI ports, unless you already typed a number.

What it changes

In the house: The project saves this by itself. At the next Save & Deploy the hub drives the TV with that brand's driver (when Network is chosen and the TV has an address).

In the app: The room gets a TV tile and remote.

If it goes wrong

• The wrong brand: the hub speaks the wrong language and the TV does not answer.
• None keeps the ports' sources in the project, but the room has no TV.
