What it is

The eye button in each room row. Its tooltip says Shown on the phone — click to hide or Hidden on the phone — click to show. A hidden room's row is greyed.

What to enter

Press it to hide the room from every phone, or press again to show it.

What it changes

In the app: A hidden room is on no one's phone and not given to guests, after the next Save & Deploy. It stays in the project with all its devices.

In the house: In the code, the hub's room lists for people are made without looking at this button, so the hub still knows the room and its devices. Anyone you add to Apple Home can control every room by Siri. To limit a person to some rooms, use the LuxeLife app or LuxeLife voice, not Apple Home.

If it goes wrong

If a room has vanished from every phone, check whether its eye is crossed out.
