What it is

Lines in the ⋯ menu under the heading Make a sub-room of…, one for each main room with a name on the same floor.

What to enter

Press the main room this room belongs inside, for example a dressing room inside a bedroom.

What it changes

In the app: In the app the room becomes a half-width dark tile shown under its main room (on an iPad held sideways, two sub-rooms to a row under the main room). The change shows at the next Save & Deploy.

In the house: The room keeps its own devices. The hub does not use the main-room link. It only changes the app tiles and the Join Map (sub of <room>).

If it goes wrong

A sub-room can only go under a main room on the same floor; sub-rooms are not offered in the list. Deleting a main room that has sub-rooms opens a box that lists them and asks Move them up to the floor or Delete them too. No sub-room is left inside a room that is gone.
