Runs on (Hub · Crestron)
Screen: Room Devices (step 5 of 7) — Scenes card, under each scene's name.
What it is
Two buttons under each scene's name that say what runs the scene: Hub or Crestron. The lit one is how it runs now.
What to enter
- Press Hub to have the LuxeLife hub set the light levels typed in this column.
- Press Crestron to have the Crestron processor run its own scene on a press join.
Moving a hub scene that has levels to Crestron asks first, because its levels are not kept.
What it changes
In the house: Hub: at the next Save & Deploy the hub stores the scene and sets each light itself. Crestron: the hub only pulses the scene's press join on the processor; the processor decides what happens.
In the app: A hub scene can be re-saved by the owner from the app (see Owner can re-save). A Crestron scene is a plain button and cannot be held to re-save.
If it goes wrong
- Moving to Crestron loses the levels. Moving back to Hub starts the scene empty; type the levels again.
- A Crestron scene with no press join is shown on the phone but says it isn't connected when pressed.
