Pre-Shared Key (Sony)

What it is

The code set on the Sony TV for IP control.

What to enter

The same code typed on the TV (Settings → Network → Home network → IP control → Pre-Shared Key), for example 0000.

What it changes

In the house: Saved at Connect. At the next Save & Deploy the hub uses it to talk to the TV. It cannot be left empty.

In the app: The TV controls in the app work only if this matches the TV.

If it goes wrong

• Empty: Connect is refused and the red line says to type the key set on the TV. Nothing is saved.
• TV does not respond: check the code on the TV matches exactly, and that Authentication is set to Normal and Pre-Shared Key.
