Type (imported AC / fan)

What it is

The type list on an imported air conditioner or fan row while editing.

What to enter

HVAC for an air conditioner, or Light/Curtain to undo it.

What it changes

In the app: The device shows in the room's app page with its new setting at the next Save & Deploy.

In the house: The hub's KNX address list is rebuilt from the imported devices at the next Save & Deploy.

If it goes wrong

An AC combined from several rows goes back to those rows. If the change takes a device out of the home, a box asks first and lists what would be retired; press Cancel there to undo the change. A retired device's identity is never given out again.
