Type (imported light or curtain)

What it is

The type list on an imported light or curtain row while editing: Light, Curtain, HVAC.

What to enter

Pick what the device really is.

What it changes

In the app: The device shows in the room's app page with its new setting at the next Save & Deploy.

In the house: The hub's KNX address list is rebuilt from the imported devices at the next Save & Deploy.

If it goes wrong

A change that would lose an address is refused and names it. If the change takes a device out of the home, a box asks first and lists what would be retired; press Cancel there to undo the change. A retired device's identity is never given out again.
