Link KNX device…

Screen: Room Devices (step 5 of 7) — the open addresses of a KNX light on the Lights card.

What it is

A list of the lights from the ETS import. Picking one copies its addresses (on/off, status, dim level, level status, step) and their types into this light. ACs and fans are not listed.

What to enter

1. Open the light's addresses (press its Addresses line).
2. Pick the imported device in Link KNX device…. Devices already linked to another light in this room are shown greyed under already linked.

What it changes

In the house: The project saves this by itself. It reaches the house and the phones at the next Save & Deploy. The hub switches and dims the light on these addresses.

In the app: The light gets on/off, and a dimmer if it has a dim level or step address. Level feedback shows only if it has a level status address.

If it goes wrong

• Wrong device picked: press × to unlink and pick again.
• A red badge means an address sits in the wrong slot for its type. Check it in ETS.
