TV HDMI join

Screen: Room Devices — a room's TV & audio card.

What it is

The Join box under a source on a TV HDMI port. It shows only for a TV on IR sent by Crestron.

What to enter

The Crestron join that switches the TV straight to that HDMI input. Leave it blank to keep the Input (step) button.

What it changes

In the house: The project saves this by itself. At the next Save & Deploy, when that source is picked in the app, the hub presses this join last, after the power sequence and its waits.

In the app: Nothing on screen changes; picking the source goes straight to the right input.

If it goes wrong

• Blank: the TV is moved with the Input button, as before.
• A wrong join: the TV goes to the wrong input or nothing happens. Check the SIMPL program.
