Remove this light (×)

Screen: Room Devices (step 5 of 7) — the end of a row on the Lights card.

What it is

The × at the end of a light row. It opens a box before anything is removed.

What to enter

1. Press ×.
2. Read the box. It lists the scenes in the room that use this light.
3. Press Delete to remove it, or Cancel.

What it changes

In the house: The light leaves the hub's settings at the next Save & Deploy. Its identity is retired for good; a light added later is a new one.

In the app: The tile goes. Scenes keep this light's level, leave it out while it is gone, and use it again if it comes back.

If it goes wrong

• Deleted by mistake: add a new light. It is a new device to the app, not the old one.
