What it is

The Detach… button on each box's line. It takes the configuration off the box for real.

What to enter

Click it and confirm the question Detach the configuration from<home>?.

What it changes

For the dealer: The box is told to retire. The page shows Detach asked — waiting for the box to confirm… and checks every 5 seconds for up to 3 minutes. When the box itself reports it, the line reads Detached — confirmed by the box itself. and the Configuration column says wears nothing.

For the home: The box goes silent on every bus — no app for the house, no logins, no schedules. It keeps its link to LuxeLife, so it can be dressed again later without a visit.

In the app: The home's app stops working with this box.

If it goes wrong

• The button is greyed when the box never checked in, already wears nothing, or a detach is already staged (A detach is already staged for this box.).
• Could not stage the detach: …: the ask was refused.
• The box has not confirmed the detach. … It was asked, and the instruction is still waiting for it.: no answer in 3 minutes.
• The box could not go dark. It says: …: the box reported an error.
• There is no way to dress the box again from this page yet.
