Copy SHA-256

What it is

A small button next to the installer's SHA-256 (its checksum: a long code that proves the file is the right one). The page shows only the first 8 characters; this copies the whole code.

What to enter

Click it. Nothing to type.

What it changes

For the dealer: The full SHA-256 is put on your clipboard and Checksum copied shows. Paste it to compare with the result of the check command.

For the home: Nothing. It does not reach any home.

In the app: Nothing.

If it goes wrong

• No checksum to copy: the installer record has not loaded, or carries no checksum. Wait for the card to fill in, or press Try again.
• If the browser will not copy, Couldn't copy — select it and copy by hand shows and the whole SHA-256 (all 64 characters) is left selected on the page: copy it with Ctrl+C (Cmd+C on a Mac). Checksum copied only shows when the copy worked.
