Name box

Screen: Projects — a project card, after Rename.

What it is

The text box that replaces the house name on a card after Rename. It starts with the current name.

What to enter

Type the new name, 1 to 80 characters. Enter saves; Esc cancels.

What it changes

For the dealer: Enter saves the name for the project, the home and its licence together, the same as the gold Rename beside it.

For the home: The home record and its licence get the new name.

In the app: Nothing changes until the next Save & Deploy.

If it goes wrong

• A name must be 1 to 80 characters.
• Another project already uses that name.
• A sentence naming the person editing this project in the configurator: rename it from the configurator, or when they are done.
• Home not found or not authorised: this home is not on your company's licences.
• Could not reach LuxeLife — nothing was renamed.
• After any error the box stays open with what you typed.
