Rename

Screen: Projects — a project card, after Rename.

What it is

The gold Rename button beside the name box. It saves the new name.

What to enter

Type the new name first, then click.

What it changes

For the dealer: A message says Renamed to <name> — project, home and licence (or That is already its name) and the card shows the new name. A grey home record: line under the name goes away.

For the home: The home record and its licence are renamed.

In the app: Nothing changes until the next Save & Deploy.

If it goes wrong

• A name must be 1 to 80 characters.
• Another project already uses that name.
• A sentence naming the person editing this project in the configurator: rename it from the configurator, or when they are done.
• Home not found or not authorised: this home is not on your company's licences.
• Could not reach LuxeLife — nothing was renamed.
• After any error the box stays open with what you typed.
